Every screen is a composite.
I'm Umang, a UI/UX designer with five years of compositing for film and TV. A shot and a screen are both built from layers that have to read as one image. I design apps, tools and graphics with that same eye.

How I work
01Listen firstInterviews with the people who do the work, recorded word for word.
02Frame one problemPick the pain that matters most and write it as a single question.
03Build in layersGrid, layout, type, data, colour. Each layer has to earn its place.
04Test and refinePut it back in front of people and fix what confuses them.
